The Event

Prickly Monster Fest is on Sunday, August 3rd at Common Space Brewery in Hawthorne. The event is from noon-5pm and it’s free to attend, family friendly, and pups are welcomed.

The event will feature an indoor marketplace featuring vendors selling plants, cacti, succulents, pottery, supplies and home decor. There will also be several food popups and trucks outdoors, along with a shaded outdoor dining deck. The brewery tasting room will also be open, and their lounge area will feature Djs playing records.

Vendor Spaces

We care about our vendors success, so we have a flat fee of $75 (before June 10,) $100 (after June 10) for an 8’x8′ indoor space. These spaces are for vendors offering plants, ceramics, arts & crafts, gifts, home decor.

Indoor food vendor spaces are 8×8. These spaces are for packaged food, pastries, and premade food vendors. There is a $25 deposit due, which will be applied to their overall 15% of sales due at the end of the event.

All vendor fees and deposits are non-refundable. Vendors can use their space as they wish. Set up as many tables, shelves, display cases, or just set up a rug with a couch. It’s really up to you and your imagination. Please bring your own chairs and tables.

Load-in Time: Load in time is at 10:00 A.M. Event begins promptly at 12 P.M.

Load-out Time: The event will conclude at 5PM sharp, vendors should not continue selling after this
time. Vendors will have till 6PM to clear their booth from the venue.

Payment: Due with 24 hours of your application being approved. Do not send payment before you receive an approval.

Promotion

This event will be promoted via social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook. Other digital promotion includes our mailing list, Eventbrite posts and ads. The event will also be promoted with print posters at key locations such as nurseries and plant shops around the LA area.

Vendor Release of Liability Waiver

We’re thrilled to have you join our event! Before we embark on this exciting journey together, we kindly ask you to acknowledge and accept the following terms:

  1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the market/event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, theft, or property damage.
  2. Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the event, I hereby release and discharge The Plant Base & Elysium House, as well as its affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the event.
  3. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Plant Base & Elysium House, as well as any affiliates from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including attorney fees, that may arise from my participation in the event.
  4. Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and guidelines set forth by The Plant Base & Elysium House for the event.
  5. Photography Release: I grant The Plant Base & Elysium House the right to take photographs and/or videos of my booth and products during the pop-up market events for promotional purposes.
